Real Men Read is a volunteer guest reader program that brings together MENtors from the Carlisle and Cumberland County area to read to preschool children for one hour each month. The acronym R.E.A.L. stands for Read, Excel, Achieve, Lead. Male mentors act as role models for children and demonstrate that men are strong readers.Mentors encourage good reading habits for success in school.

Success By 6 is pleased to announce that it has received a grant in the amount of $3,300 from the PPL Foundation. These funds will be used to support a new initiative entitled, REAL Men Read Mentor Program at the Carlisle Early Education Center throughout the 2019-2020 school year.
