College A Cappella Competition Applications STILL Being Accepted
Last year’s show inspired friendly (but fierce) competition as artists performed to a sold-out crowd of over 1,000 people gathered in historic, downtown Carlisle, PA.
The competition is a major fundraiser for United Way of Carlisle & Cumberland County, as well as a prized regional a cappella competition to showcase talent. Underwritten by M&T Bank, 2016 marks our 6th year and we are excited by the buzz already surrounding this year’s competition.
The event will take place Saturday April 23, 2016. Applications are being accepted NOW!
While there is no fee to apply, we consider selected applicants’ participation key to a successful night; and therefore, a firm commitment. Applicants will be notified of selection in January.
There will be a cash prize for the winning group, as well as the opportunity to open for “Streetcar Symphony,” May 7th at the Carlisle Theatre.
Previous competitors include groups from: Franklin & Marshall College, Dickinson College, Richard Stockton College, University of Delaware, Drexel University, James Madison University, Lehigh University, Temple, St. Joseph’s University, University of Maryland, York College and more!
