Giving Tuesday, December 1, 2015

After Black Friday, Small Business Saturday, and Cyber Monday, there is GIVING Tuesday! The Tuesday following Thanksgiving has been designated “Giving Tuesday.” This movement was started in 2012 to create a national day of giving at the beginning of the Holiday Season. It is a movement aimed at getting back to the roots of what this season is all about.

In the spirit of “Giving Tuesday,”  United Way of Carlisle & Cumberland County will dedicate all gifts given to our organization on this day to our Heating Coalition Fund, which serves our friends and neighbors who need help paying elevated heating bills during the coldest time of the year.  Join us as we try to make a difference one dollar at a time!  No gift is too small, and all gifts are appreciated.
