Award Winning College A Cappella in Carlisle!

Saturday, April 11^th, 7pm at the Carlisle Theatre, join ABC 27’s Brett Thackera, Kendra Nichols, and the staff of the United Way of Carlisle & Cumberland County, as we welcome award winning college a cappella performers from around the Mid Atlantic region to vie for the title of 2015 Champions of the M&T Bank Regional Glee: College A Cappella Competition !

The 5th year for this competition brings new groups to the line-up, as well as returning champions. This year is sure to raise the bar for the competition with several ICCA quarterfinalists joining us. From current pop hits to Michael Jackson, Disney favorites to classic barbershop, these groups are sure to sing something for everyone. Some of the colleges performing this year include:

Tickets are on sale now. Student tickets are reduced price. General admission is $15/for adults and $8/student. VIP Reserved tickets are $25/for adults and $15 / student. Limited number of VIP Reserved Seating seats available for purchase in advance only. ALL proceeds benefit the United Way of Carlisle & Cumberland County. The United Way provides financial support to 27 local non-profit partner agencies and 40 programs that address the community’s most pressing needs. In addition to funding partner programs, the United Way provides heating assistance, pre-K scholarships, discounted medical prescription cards and income tax preparation help.

Among our musical expert judges we welcome: RED 102.3’s Rick Sten, Cheap Sneakers’ Ric Le Blanc & Sam Kreps, representing Theatre Harrisburg & Voices in the Valley. Event media sponsors are The Sentinel, Red 102.3 and abc27. Cash prize is provided by event sponsor M&T Bank.
