100 Year Campaign Lifted to $1,456,538 by Anonymous Donation After Celebration.
Our campaign co-chairs, Jen Burd of M&T Bank, and Dave Metz of Morgan Stanley – Bartoli, Seig & Metz announced the results of the 2018 United Way Campaign on Wednesday, January 16th at our Campaign Celebration breakfast sponsored by Giant Food Stores and hosted by Dickinson College.
At Celebration, it was announced that a total of $1,431,538 had been raised through current and expected pledges to support community-based programs.
We are excited to announce we received an additional $25,000 donation two days after Celebration from an anonymous donor who closed the 2% gap to hit our goal of $1.455 million!
The 2018 United Way campaign began this summer with 90 companies and 85 volunteers participating and ended with more than 2,300 donors pledging their support to United Way. The support and generosity of all who selflessly donated to our very special 100 year campaign will serve so much need in our community! We couldn’t have done it without each and every one of you!
