UMBC Cleftomaniacs WOW Judges!
As the a cappella groups performed one by one it was apparent that this was the most talented year of performers Carlisle had seen in the history of this competition! One group was stand out, receiving awards for Outstanding Vocal Percussion (Desmond Oliver), Outstanding Choreography and the overall Grand Championship title. Every member of the UMBC Cleftomaniacs was committed to the performance, ultimately earning them the title. Runner-up, Stockappella, from Stockton University, won the hearts of the audience with their dynamic vocals and vibrant stage presence. The 3rd finalist, Dickinson College Infernos, charmed the audience with their variety of music, range and well choreographed version of Frank Sinatra’s “Fly Me To The Moon”. 54th & City did not disappoint with their medley of 80’s favorites, winning them Outstanding Soloist (Pat McGavick).
