Pacesetters Kick Off 2016 Campaign!

United Way of Carlisle & Cumberland County began its annual fundraising efforts by kicking off its 2016 Pacesetters Campaign on Thursday, June 23rd  at Dickinson College. The kick-off breakfast was sponsored by F&M Trust.

The Pacesetters Campaign is a piece of the overall United Way of Carlisle & Cumberland County annual campaign. Pacesetter organizations conduct and conclude their campaign efforts by September, announcing their results at the overall campaign kick-off on September 7th. The Pacesetters literally “set the pace” for the rest of the campaign by completing their efforts successfully over the summer months and providing momentum, enthusiasm, and a precedent of success!

“The United Way would like to thank all the Pacesetter companies for accepting this challenge,” said Lucy Zander, Executive Director. “Their success is extremely important to the overall campaign, as we are counting on their enthusiasm to help build momentum for the community-wide fundraising effort for our local non-profit partner programs.”
