Birthday Party a Smashing Success!

On Saturday, March 2nd, we celebrated the beloved children’s book author, Dr. Seuss at the Carlisle Theatre, with over 900 Dr. Seuss fans.  We could tell you about the great time had by all, but we were most touched by this email received later that evening. I think it sums up the event better than we could:

“I just wanted to thank you and all the partners for the event, and for making this something truly special for families and celebrating one of the greatest inspirational writers for kids and adults. The event was amazing and all of my children (2, 9, and 11) had a blast! We are new to the area and heard about the event through day care. We thought it was just a movie (by the way great choice! so many important concepts within it and a great message of UNLESS you do something, nothing will change- great!) we were thrown by the free books, cupcakes and WONDERFUL staff/volunteers that made it happen!” – Dana T.

Dana, we thank you for your kind words and sincere appreciation. It truly was as fun for us as it was for you, and we are so glad to have shared the day with so many in our community! Like you, we are so grateful for our amazing volunteers and all who helped make this event such a success.
